This position manages and is responsible for daily operations of the branch, either directly or through subordinates. Make necessary decisions to improve branch profitability and growth. Promote goodwill for bank through active participation in community organizations and events. Do all the above in accordance with the policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Oversee daily operations of the branch.
- Answer daily correspondence regarding bank office matters and/or bank customers or direct such to appropriate bank personnel for answering.
- Develop new business by contacting prospects and customers for banking and insurance.
- Ensure the bank office is maintained properly.
- Handle personnel matters of the office to include recommendations to the Personnel committee on the hiring and termination of personnel.
- Approve payment of monthly office expenses directly or through designated subordinates.
- Recommend salary adjustments for bank office staff annually or whenever appropriate and communicate board approved salary adjustments to employees.
- Conduct job performance interviews with each employee.
- Run bank office staff meetings.
- Compliment and reward good employee performance and encourage individual improvement through outside schooling or in bank job enlargement.
- Assist the President in preparation of the annual bank budget.
- Read sufficient daily, weekly, monthly publications to be properly informed and able to converse about pertinent economic, governmental, and community related matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Supporting new loan files from application to loan funding
- Assist with servicing and maintaining current bank loan portfolio
- Escrow loan payment support
- Generate and maintain reports
- Coordinates and communicates with branches throughout loan process
- Follow bank security procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Actively contribute as a part of the team in meetings
- Community involvement

- Assist lenders with preparing loan documentation for all new loans and modifications, while maintaining accuracy, compliance and TRID timing.
- Manage escrow accounts through analysis statements, disbursements, and tax services for real estate loans
- Review appropriate boarding and maintenance of loans for quality assurance
- Efficiently and accurately problem solve issues, including but not limited to bank inquires, transaction discrepancies, and technical difficulties
Expectations:
- Experience with Calyx/Point, Compliance One Lending, and Encompass LOS software is helpful but not required
- Learn bank operating systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Read and interpret documentation—such as procedures, credit guidelines and bank policies
- Ability to accommodate an everchanging work pace
- Having a customer service mindset
- Ability and willingness to cross-train in other areas within the bank
- Review multiple types of loans (Commercial, Consumer, Secondary Market, etc.)
