HomeTown Bank provides a competitive, well-rounded benefits package for our employees.

All employees working 30 hours a week or more are eligible to enroll in HomeTown Bank’s health & dental insurance plans following 90 days of employment. The bank currently pays 70% of the premiums. Major medical or HCSP options are available for eligible employees to choose from. Dental insurance is available to all full-time employees at a 100% employee-paid cost. Aflac plans are available for all employees to participate in.

Long Term Disability Benefit plans are available to all full-time employees and paid 100% by HomeTown Bank.

Life Insurance is available to all full-time employees and paid 100% by HomeTown Bank after 90 days of employment. The life insurance benefit is approximately (3) times the employees’ annual salary with a maximum of $200,000.

We accommodate our employees with paid time off for vacations, illness, maternity, caring for or the loss of a family member. We offer generous PTO plans, funeral pay, holiday pay and a short-term disability plan where employees earn 5 days per full service year up to 65 days maximum.

Customer Service Representatives at HTB are responsible to improve the communities we serve by helping families and businesses accomplish their goals by making banking as easy as we can for them.

As the Customer Service Representative Manager, you would be assisting with overseeing our personal banking and teller team, who are the face of the company and serve our most important role within the bank.  This role will also be responsible for opening accounts, helping assist with teller transactions, assisting with your team’s reviews, and handling scheduling.  You would play a key role in HTB’s vision by making us the bank customer’s love.  It’s pretty much the best job ever!

The Loan Processor plays a crucial role within our local and bank-wide lending team.  They provide support to lenders by coordinating activity in support of the credit approval process, compiling loan data, borrower and property information, as well as supporting bank customers by providing services in account management, operations, documentation, customer service and technical support.

Duties include:

  • answering questions and solving problems involving all bank departments
  • ensuring proper booking and maintenance of loans; producing loan estimates, closing disclosures and closing documents
  • tracking and monitoring portfolio on an ongoing basis for compliance, position, documentation exceptions, accounting, maintenance of files and reports
  • pricing and delinquencies
  • assisting with escrow analysis
  • preparing financial and profitability reports and loan reports
  • producing and maintaining tickler reports and default reports

This position is fast-paced, detail intensive, and intellectually challenging.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, business development and communication skills.

Duties Include:

  • Effectively strengthen and develop banking relationships with new and existing customers
  • Provide business lending services including interviewing customers, accepting and analyzing applications, making sound credit decisions, closing loan with appropriate documentation, loan follow up and collection if necessary.
  • Favorably represent the bank at community functions and meetings
  • Provide a thorough level of knowledge of credit administration, analysis and credit policy/procedure
