HomeTown Bank provides a competitive, well-rounded benefits package for our employees.

All employees working 30 hours a week or more are eligible to enroll in HomeTown Bank’s health & dental insurance plans following 90 days of employment. The bank currently pays 70% of the premiums. Major medical or HCSP options are available for eligible employees to choose from. Dental insurance is available to all full-time employees at a 100% employee-paid cost. Aflac plans are available for all employees to participate in.

Long Term Disability Benefit plans are available to all full-time employees and paid 100% by HomeTown Bank.

Life Insurance is available to all full-time employees and paid 100% by HomeTown Bank after 90 days of employment. The life insurance benefit is approximately (3) times the employees’ annual salary with a maximum of $200,000.

We accommodate our employees with paid time off for vacations, illness, maternity, caring for or the loss of a family member. We offer generous PTO plans, funeral pay, holiday pay and a short-term disability plan where employees earn 5 days per full service year up to 65 days maximum.

Eligible employees have the option to contribute pre-tax dollars to both a healthcare and daycare flexible spending account.

A Credit Analyst is responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks. Works with lenders to review and spread financials based on guidelines established by bank policy. Suggests advisability of credit extension but does not make credit decisions. Develops and maintains financial background information on present and prospective customers and develops credit studies. 
 
The ideal candidate for the position will be located within the Olivia or Waconia market and have prior credit analysis experience.

As a Loan Processor at HomeTown Bank, you’ll facilitate the credit approval process, manage loan data, and provide excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include supporting various bank department, ensuring loan integrity, and assisting with reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the credit approval process.
  • Compile loan data, borrower and property information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure proper loan booking and maintenance.
  • Monitor compliance and documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain records.
  • Participate in committee meetings.

As a member of the front-line staff at HomeTown Bank, you’ll be expected to handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with the bank’s policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open all types of new accounts including savings, checking, IRA, HSA and certificates of deposit.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and bank for the purpose of developing a good relationship.
  • Assist customers with account problems, such as reconciliation or research.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Works with Branch manager and teller supervisor to ensure timely and effective communication.

HomeTown Bank, a 9-time Star Tribune Top Workplace, is now hiring full-time Teller at their Waconialocation!

As a member of the front-line staff at HomeTown Bank, you’ll be expected to have adequate banking knowledge to answer basic questions for customers, direct customers to appropriate bank personnel when necessary, and accurately complete banking transactions and balancing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles customer account transactions which may include verifying incoming cash, accurately dispersing cash, accepting various deposits and payments, and cashing checks.
  • Selling Cashier’s Checks to customers as requested
  • Answer phones and/or complete telephone transfers.
  • Various other duties as determined by branch supervisor.
  • Works with branch manager and teller supervisor to ensure timely and effective communication.
